Christmas Guinea Pig Card – Betty Crocker

Christmas Guinea Pig Card: Betty Crocker

Send a little festive sweetness with our Christmas Guinea Pig Card featuring Betty Crocker, a charming hand illustrated design starring one very special guinea pig from the Toffee Apple Pets herd.

Dressed in an adorable festive apron and ready for Christmas baking, Betty is busy decorating gingerbread biscuits in her very own little bakery. Complete with a bowl of icing, freshly baked treats and a cosy Christmas setting, this cute guinea pig Christmas card is full of seasonal charm.

But Betty wasn't just any guinea pig. She had the refinement of royalty and was always the elegant queen of her domain. The baking theme might be playful, but the name Betty Crocker suits her perfectly!

Hand illustrated by Kitty, this design celebrates Betty's distinctive personality and the special role she played in our herd. Every card in our Christmas collection is inspired by real guinea pigs from our lives, past and present. Our artwork is hand illustrated and not AI generated.

Meet Betty Crocker, Our Elegant Little Queen

Betty came to us from Cavy Corner, a local guinea pig rescue, when we were looking for a motherly companion for Teacake.

At the time, Teacake was being rather unruly. She had developed some less-than-perfect manners, including bullying Earl Grey and helping herself to food straight from his mouth! We hoped an older, more experienced guinea pig might help her learn how to behave around her companions.

Then Betty arrived.

With her calm presence and dignified personality, Betty helped teach Teacake some proper guinea pig manners and etiquette. She brought a little order to the herd and showed that sometimes a confident, experienced piggy is exactly what's needed.

Betty had a wonderful air of refinement. She carried herself like royalty, always seeming to be the elegant queen of her own little domain. She was a special girl with a personality that made her unforgettable.

It felt only right to give her a festive design worthy of her character. And what better way to celebrate our sophisticated little queen than by imagining her running her own Christmas bakery?

The result is Betty's Bakery, a sweet Christmas illustration that combines her elegant personality with a playful baking theme. It's a little tribute to a guinea pig who brought her own special kind of wisdom to the herd.

Choose Your Christmas Card Type

This Christmas guinea pig card is available in two options, both priced at £3.50.

Regular Christmas Card

Our regular version is printed on quality 300gsm matt card, giving it a smooth finish and a sturdy feel.

The inside is fully printed with a festive design and a Christmas greeting, leaving space for you to write your own personal message.

Each regular card comes with a recycled brown paper envelope.

Seeded Christmas Card

Want to give your Christmas card a second life after the festive season?

Our seeded version is printed on 200gsm Meadow Mix seeded paper, containing a mixture of wildflower and grass seeds. The seeds are visible throughout the paper, giving it a distinctive natural texture and appearance.

Once you've finished enjoying the card, the seeded paper can be planted according to its planting instructions. With the right conditions, the seeds have the chance to grow into flowers and grasses rather than the paper simply being thrown away.

The seeded version also comes with a recycled brown paper envelope.

Please note: The flowers and plants grown from the seeded paper are not intended as food for guinea pigs or other pets.

Two Free Christmas Gift Tags Included

Every card comes with two free Christmas gift tags as a little festive bonus.

The tags feature our Earl Grey and Teacake Christmas wreath illustration, complete with a Merry Christmas message and blue and white twine. They're perfect for decorating presents for fellow guinea pig lovers, friends and family.

Each order includes:

• One Betty Crocker Christmas guinea pig card
• Your choice of Regular or Seeded card stock
• One recycled brown paper envelope
• Two free Christmas gift tags

Hand Illustrated by Kitty

Our Christmas card collection celebrates the guinea pigs who have been part of the Toffee Apple Pets herd, past and present.

Some designs feature individual piggies, while others bring together special pairs whose friendships and personalities inspired the artwork. Kitty takes inspiration from their real appearances, distinctive characters and little quirks to create illustrations with a story behind them.

Every design is hand illustrated by Kitty and is not AI generated.

Betty's card is a lovely example of how a real guinea pig's personality can inspire a design. Her elegant nature and reputation as the queen of her domain made the Christmas baking theme a perfect fit.

It's a sweet choice for anyone who loves guinea pigs, enjoys cute festive stationery or appreciates the individual personalities that make these little animals so special.
